Now it's gonna be a pretty small carrier like the name suggests. It's a steel construction with a 500 pound weight capacity. So it's more than capable of carrying some heavier stuff, but it's gonna be a bit smaller in both the depth and the width compared to some other stuff that you might be used to seeing. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer tilting and folding cargo carrier on the back of our 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. Now this is gonna be a really versatile hitch-mounted carrier. For one, a hitch-mounted carrier is very good for carrying some extra stuff, whether we've got that third row of seats up in the back of our Tahoe, and space is limited. Maybe we've got some stuff we're taking on a road trip and we need to get everybody's stuff somewhere, outside on a cargo carrier is a great place to get it. Or maybe we've got some messy items, maybe some things from the hardware store, bags of concrete, malt, sand, things that are heavy and tend to rip often. more

Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier Review - 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
How's it going everybody It's Ethan, here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our 17 inch by 50 inch Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. If you have some larger gear or some ice and snow type of materials or just, dirty things in general, that you don't wanna keep in the trunk of your car, a hitch cargo carrier is a great solution for that. This one specifically is capable of holding up to 400 pounds and it is just a great way to store some things. So we just have this here as sort of a demonstration point for our break-over point. How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt 17 by 46 inch cargo carrier on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. This is a pretty lightweight cargo carrier. It's actually coming in at 29 pounds, but it's capable of supporting up to 500 pounds of stuff. So we'll go ahead and get this off, and we'll get into some more details about it. The carrier itself is made of steel so it's pretty durable and pretty rigid. more

Now this particular kit's gonna come with the Gear Warrior basket on the bottom as well as the gear locker box on the top and you can swap these positions if you want to. You are gonna get a little extra weight capacity by having the basket on the bottom. This is gonna be nice for a mix of cargo. Today at etrailer here, looking at the Curt Cargo Carrier for our 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe.This is a very sturdy and dense cargo carrier. It's going to have complete steel components that is going to allow you up to 500 pounds of carrying capacity. It does have folding functionality, which is very nice when you're not using it. It doesn't fold this way in the briefcase style, but it's okay. That's mostly for when you're not using it, but we can get into that. It's got some finer points that we can get into. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. So, when we designed this, we wanted to solve a couple of problems for you guys. A lot of you guys are taking the cargo carrier out and putting it back into the hitch quite often, so that's why we ended up making it out of aluminum, to make it nice and light.It's about 16 pounds, really, really light, and it's going to be really easy to store, just because it's a little bit smaller than your traditional cargo carriers. We're going to have about 60 inches long by about 22 inches wide. The rails only sit up about seven inches, so this going to be great for putting all of your luggage and stuff like that in there, just to free up some of the room in the inside of the Tahoe.When you are going on a trip and you have a bunch of people in there, you want to make sure that they're nice and comfortable. more

Let's get started.Well, first things first, what really sets this apart from all the other products out there, is that it folds up pretty much smaller than my suitcase that I take to the airport with me. So, it's going to be great for you guys who just have a smaller apartment or just not really a lot of space in your garage to be able to store this. It'll fold up really nicely, like this. So, it's going to be easy to store and you can honestly hold it like a suitcase, which is nice.One thing that I really like about cargo carriers, is just to be able to open up the inside of the vehicle, so we can get a lot more stuff on the outside to make everybody a little bit more comfortable.I remember when I was going on a long trip with my family, we had our whole entire family in there and all of our stuff was just piled in with us and it was not too comfortable, and it wasn't really the most quiet ride. more

Adam: What's going on everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this Cargo Carrier is going to be about 60" long X 22" wide and these rails are going to sit up about 6" from our floor here but what really is going to set this Cargo Carrier apart from some of the others you guys may be looking at is the fact that it is almost all aluminum and it's actually only 18 pounds. So if you guys are one that's probably going to put this thing in and out of your hitch quite often, this is definitely going to be a great way to just relieve a lot of that stress on your knees and your back from lifting and everything like that. Very light but it still gets that 500 pounds of weight capacity that everybody's wanting. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe we're doing a test fit of our Curt 20x48 Cargo Carrier. This part number is C18110. Now, this is designed for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches and has a weight capacity of three hundred pounds. So the first thing we are going to do here is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. It's going to be about twenty six and a half inches of clearance there. Now that's not only because we have such a high hitch, but we also have a slightly raised shank here which is going to raise that even higher than our vehicle. more

It's going to have that nice sturdy steel construction that's going to offer a 300 pound weight capacity. Today on our 2015 Chevy Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista folding cargo carrier. This is going to be part number SR9851. It's going to be 20" by 60" and have a 500 pound weight capacity. First things we're going to do is talk about the 2" shank here that connects to our 2" receiver, and the shortest distance. Our shortest distance on this rack is going to be about 10-1/2" from the brace and bracket here to the back end of the bumper. Our overall distance will be from the back of the rack and cargo carrier to the back side of the bumper at about 40". Our ground clearance is going to be about 26-3/8". more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack 20 by 60 inch cargo carrier. It is going to connect with an anti-rattle bolt to the bottom side of your receiver here to help reduce a lot of that sway, rattle and wobble that you would normally have. Let's get a few measurements to start it off. Our first measurement is going to be from the bend in the shank right here to the back side of the receiver. It's going to be our closest distance at about 2 1/2 inches. Our overall distance is going to be from the backside of the bumper to the back of the rack at about 30 1/8 inches with a rear ground clearance of about 23 3/4 inches. more

Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe we will be test fitting the Pro Series solo cargo carrier. That's part number PS1040100. It has dimensions of thirty-one by forty-seven, it has a max capacity of four hundred pounds and it's for two inch hitches only. We're going to start by inserting our shank into our receiver and we're looking for our pin holes to be lined up. All right, once we have that lined up we'll go ahead and insert our included pin and clip and we can take a few measurements. Starting with our nearest point, it'll be about nine inches from here to our bumper. Overall we've added forty-one and a half inches to our vehicle and four our ground clearance we're looking for about sixteen inches right here. We can go ahead and check for our break over point, that's going to be right at twenty inches before our rear hatch breaks over our cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, we we'll be test fitting the Curt Cargo Carrier. That's part number C18145. Now its dimensions are 17x46. Has a max capacity of 500 pounds and is used for or it can be used for 1 1/4 or 2 inch hitches. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver. Wait for our pin holes to be lined up and we'll take our included anti rattle bolt and pin and we thread that through and we'll finish tightening that with our wrench and by tightening this it's going to help reduce any play or rattle within our hitch in our cargo carrier. more

All right once we have that lined up, we can take our anti rattle bolt and pin and begin threading that through. We can go ahead and finish tightening that down with our socket wrench and by tightening this it's going to help reduce any play or rattle within our hitch and our carrier. more

Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit on the 31 by 47 Pro Series Solo. They've designed this for use in 2" hitches. It offers a 400 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is PS1040100. Now this is one of the larger carriers that we offer, so if you don't have a friend to help you load it in the vehicle you might try doing it this way. What I like to do is just rest the shank of the Pro Series there in the receiver tube of the hitch. Then I'm going to lift up on the rear as I push in. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe MT70108- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit on the 20 by 47 MaxxTow cargo carrier. As you can see, it's got an aluminum basket construction, which really helps saves weight. It's been designed for use in 2" hitches. The part number on it is MT70108. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of our carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch and we'll line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. With those in line we'll slide through our standard 5/8 pin and secure it on the other side here with a clip. Now the pin and clip are sold separately so if you don't already have one at home, go ahead and pick one up. more

Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we will be test fitting the Detail K2 20x60 folding cargo carrier. They've designed this for use in two inch hitches, it offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is K2HCC602. To begin our test fit we simply slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll then line up the pin hole with our hitch pin hole. With those line up, we are going to take a standard five eights pin and slide this on through. Difficult this one, once it comes through there we'll slide the clip in the other side to hold it in place. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit on the 24 by 60 CURT folding cargo carrier. They've designed this for use in 2" hitches. It offers us a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is C18153. Now to begin our test fit we're just going to slide the shank of our rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We need to slide this in far enough so our hitch pinhole lines up with the hole here in the shank. With those lined up with one another we can take our standard 5/8 pin; we're going to slide this through and we'll secure it here on the other side with our clip. more

Now to do our test fit we're just going to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube and line up the pinholes. Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we are going to be doing a test fit on the 17x46 Curt Compact Cargo Carrier. Now this has been designed to use easily with an inch and a quarter or with two inch hitch and it offers a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is C18145. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this, we want to line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. With those in place we can take the pin which is provided with the carrier, I'm sorry the bolt which is provided with the carrier, we'll thread it in. As you can see there is still kind of some movement and some play there, it's time to bring in the wrench and get it tightened down. more

Rola Dart Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rola Dart. This cargo carrier is a folding-style, measures 23 by 56. Pardon me, and it has a weight capacity of 450 pounds. Part number on it is 59550. To begin the test fit we need to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hatch. As we do this we'll line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. Once we get that lined up we'll take the provided anti-rattle bolt and we're going to thread this through. more

As we do this, we need to line our pin hole up with our hitch pin hole. MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, were going to be test fitting the Maxxtow 29x49 Aluminum Cargo Carrier with the 60 inch ramp part number MT70275. Well begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier into the hitch on our vehicle. I found easiest, with this one being as heavy as it is and awkward, to rest the shank of the carrier into the hitch of our vehicle like so. Youll then move around to the back of the carrier and pick up and push in at the same time. Youll want to line your hitch pinholes up here. Once you have those in line, well take the included the hitch pin and slide it through the holes. You got to get the alignment just perfect and able to get it in so you may have to do a little wiggling around on your carrier before you have the positioning perfect. more
